About The Position

The Aquatic Facility Manager ensures a clean, healthy pool environment and facility for staff and students. The role maintains the changing area, restrooms, viewing area, front lobby, pool, and pool deck, with close attention to cleanliness, water quality, and safety in a commercial pool environment. The manager performs general facility maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, and works independently with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position with an on-call problem-solving requirement. Starting wage is negotiable based on prior experience.

Requirements

Caring and compassion for children and adults.
CPO certification.
Experience maintaining a commercial facility.
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Independence, self-motivation, and ability to see projects through to completion.
Reliable vehicle capable of transporting larger items for occasional off-property events.
Ability to work on an on-call basis as needed.

Responsibilities

Keep the pool and facility clean, healthy, and compliant with safety regulations.
Be a dependable and reliable team player.
Perform routine maintenance on chemical rooms and facility equipment.
Maintain required safety and health logs and inventory of supplies.
Repair and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
Inspect, test, and adjust equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and related tasks.
Maintain records of maintenance activities.
Transport larger items such as tents, folding tables, and event equipment for occasional off-property events.
