Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably Engineering.
Co-op or intern experience, at a minimum in Quality Engineering in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Automotive industry experience.

Responsibilities

Initiate QRQC in QIM database, participate in containment, and validate containment robustness.
Support APU Managers/Site Manager in analyzing issues assigned in QRQC activities.
Update APU quality tracking charts (Customer Returns, Cost of Non-Quality, etc.).
Perform line audits to detect non-compliance with standards and identify corrective actions with the APU.
Participate in the eradication of customer and non-quality issues.
Ensure adherence to rules and application of 'Stop at first disagree' and 'Stop at first no' during APU QRQC meetings.
Perform revision of the control plan after an issue.
Verify 4M matrix compliance for product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval.
Update quality documents following process-related changes.
Verify continuous process conformance to generate products meeting specifications, in accordance with control plans (machine capability, yearly product audit, etc.).
Has the authority to stop a manufacturing/assembly line if standards are not respected or if a safety/quality risk is detected for operators or customers, or following a LLC Stability audit demonstrating less than 100% compliance.
Represent the customer within Valeo on quality matters, including communication and escalation.
In case of APU Quality Leader position, report to this position and do not supersede APU Quality Leader and Site Quality Manager authority.
Manage PD, CA, and closure for Internal Suppliers incidents.
