About The Position

For the clinic opening in March 2027 at 4059 Thomas Street, Units A07 & A08, Oxford, Florida, this position provides diagnostic and therapeutic health care for patients under the supervision of an attending physician. Care includes taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, coordinating laboratory tests and diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, and assisting patients with treatment plans and education. Other duties may include sharing call hours, providing phone coverage, and seeing admitted patients in the hospital.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Meet Medical Staff Office requirements to obtain and retain privileges to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable.
• Current and clear Florida license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities
