About The Position

Penske Logistics is hiring full-time Apprentice Class A CDL Truck Drivers. This is an on-the-job training opportunity for recent graduates of a Penske-approved CDL school or current or former members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have less than 12 months of commercial driving experience. Drivers deliver freight to assigned locations, perform drop-and-hook work, and provide high-level customer service. The position is local, with drivers home daily, and offers an hourly starting wage of $24.75 with an increase within the first year. Drivers use late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks designed for comfort and safety, equipped with inward- and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The schedule is five days per week, Monday through Friday, with two consecutive days off and an occasional Saturday, approximately once per month. Penske provides on-the-job training to help drivers develop their existing Class A driving skills. The role requires safe, attentive driving and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Candidates must meet the specified CDL, medical card, driving-record, background-check, drug-screening, and physical requirements.
