Fowler Kia of Longmont is seeking an Apprentice Service Advisor. This role is for an individual who can make customers feel welcome and confident in the service they receive. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, scheduling appointments, shuttling vehicles, and serving as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
Responsibilities
- Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Attitude is everything—greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
- Calls to schedule special order parts appointments.
- Schedule and file claims for glass claims.
- Operate customer shuttle and Service Porter work load for moving and locating service vehicles as needed.
- Develop skills as an advisor and work Saturday business.
- Assist with writing shop purchase orders and used car repair orders.
- Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
- Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician.
- Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
- Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
- Report any customer concerns to Service Manager.
