About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level Jeweler Apprentices for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up through administrative and customer-service responsibilities, jewelry intake and tracking, polishing, quality control, and introductory jewelry repair tasks. The role includes training toward becoming a Bench Jeweler through a full training program, with opportunities to progress from apprentice to artisan in the company’s promote-from-within environment. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are people with a passion and desire to learn the trade.

Design & Service Center team members are dedicated to providing a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with company stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn and perform basic jewelry repair tasks, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Contribute to a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
