About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler for its Field Design & Service Center Team. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up through a full training program designed to develop their skills toward becoming a Bench Jeweler. The role combines administrative responsibilities and customer service with introductory jewelry repair work, including polishing and quality control. Team members may progress from apprentice to artisan in Signet’s promote-from-within environment.

The team delivers a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs. Apprentices interact with stores and customers, complete administrative and clerical tasks, photograph jewelry for intake and tracking, and learn the basics of jewelry repair. The position is based at the Simi Valley Town Center in Simi Valley, California.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Availability for a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime.
