About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler for its Field Design & Service Center team. The position provides a full training program to develop skills toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to advance from apprentice to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up through customer service and interactions with stores and customers, administrative and clerical work, jewelry intake and tracking photography, and introductory repair work such as polishing and quality control. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are candidates with a strong desire to learn the jeweler trade. The team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience in custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
