About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role provides a training path from apprentice to Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to develop skills and advance in the company's promote-from-within environment. Candidates with basic jewelry or jewelry repair knowledge are welcome, and candidates who are eager to learn the jeweler trade will also be considered.

Apprentices learn the business from the ground up, handling customer service and administrative responsibilities while developing basic jewelry repair skills. Training includes polishing and quality control, as well as jewelry photography for intake and tracking. The team is dedicated to providing a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• Strong customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn basic jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
