About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role begins with administrative and clerical work, customer service, jewelry intake photography and tracking, and polishing and quality control while the apprentice learns the fundamentals of jewelry repair. A full training program supports progression toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to develop skills and advance within the company.

Team members help deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are candidates who are passionate about learning the jeweler trade. The position is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime. Hours vary and include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with Signet stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
