About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler for its Field Design & Service Center Team. The role is designed to train and develop candidates from apprentice level toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to advance in the company’s promote-from-within environment. A full training program helps build jewelry skills, from basic repair work to more advanced bench skills.

The apprentice learns the business through administrative responsibilities, customer service, interactions with stores and customers, clerical work, jewelry intake and tracking photography, polishing, and quality control. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, as are candidates with a strong interest in learning the trade. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of jewelry, jewelry repair, or design preferred, but not required.
• Passion and desire to learn the jeweler trade.

Responsibilities

• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn basic jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Support custom jewelry design and repair services while delivering a customer-first experience.
