As a Helper/Apprentice Electrician, you will work closely with journey-level electricians to hone your skills and gain valuable on-the-job experience. You’ll assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial electrical systems while ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year in a trade or similar hands-on role.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Clean driving report & valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer literacy, strong math skills, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, and work in various conditions, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with electricians to install and repair electrical systems, including service panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues at homes and businesses.
  • Prepare and maintain job sites by organizing tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Cut, thread, and run wiring or conduit for installations.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components for safety and compliance with code standards.
  • Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Clean work areas and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service while on-site.
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.
