About The Position

Dematic is hiring an Electrical Apprentice 1 for its Installation work. The employee will participate in Dematic’s Electrical Apprenticeship Program and develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified electrician. Under the guidance of experienced journeyman electricians, the apprentice will learn and perform first- or second-year apprentice duties, complete required classroom and on-the-job training, and support project teams with installation and electrical tasks.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Material handling or industrial installation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Participate in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program and develop skills and knowledge needed to become a qualified electrician.
Learn and perform first- or second-year electrical apprentice duties under the guidance of experienced journeyman electricians.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and jobsite requirements.
Complete required classroom training and apprenticeship coursework.
Complete On-the-Job Learning (OJL) requirements outlined in the Dematic Apprenticeship Agreement.
Maintain accurate records of work experience, training progress, and apprenticeship-related documentation.
Perform assigned installation and electrical tasks while meeting quality, productivity, and performance standards.
Support project teams by learning new skills, taking direction, and contributing to successful project execution.
