About The Position

The Electrical Apprentice performs residential electrical maintenance and service work, assisting with electrical system servicing, installations, and upgrades. The role involves working independently and with a team, responding to customer concerns, troubleshooting residential electrical issues, maintaining truck inventory, and providing strong customer service. The apprentice follows applicable local and state codes and maintains wiring, control, and lighting systems. Flexible start and end times may vary according to business needs; the schedule is Monday through Friday with an on-call rotation. Candidates must pass a drug test and background check.

Requirements

At least 1 year of residential electrical work experience.
Ability to follow instructions and retain what is taught.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to learn and advance knowledge of the trade.
Knowledge and skill in the safe use and maintenance of required tools.
High school diploma or GED.
Clean driving record.
Basic computer skills and ability to use an iPad to document work.
Fluency in spoken, read, and written English.
At least 21 years of age.
Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities
