About The Position

Brickell Buick GMC, part of Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking a motivated apprentice to build automotive technology skills through paid, hands-on training and mentorship from experienced technicians. The role provides experience working on Buick and GMC vehicles in a busy, professional dealership service department, with opportunities to pursue OEM certifications and advance toward a full Line Technician role. Career growth may also be available across Murgado Automotive Group.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Genuine interest in automotive technology and a strong desire to learn.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work hard and grow in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive training or experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians with routine maintenance and repairs on Buick and GMC vehicles.
• Learn diagnostic techniques to identify vehicle issues.
• Perform basic services as experience grows, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Participate in structured on-the-job training to build technical skills and knowledge.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety protocols and dealership standards.
• Support the service team with additional tasks as needed.
