Applications Technologist
About The Position
Givaudan is hiring an Applications Technologist for its East Hanover, New Jersey location. Reporting to the Applications Lab Team Lead, the role uses sensory skills to uphold quality standards and improve the aesthetic and physicochemical perception of consumer products, including shampoos, shower gels, detergents, and softeners. The technologist prepares fragrance samples using internally developed fragrances and technologies, introduces fragrance into product bases, and evaluates the results. The role also involves coordinating with Creative Fragrance Managers, Perfumers, and Sales, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a hard science.

Responsibilities
- Prepare fragrance samples using internally developed fragrances and technologies, introduce fragrance into product bases, and evaluate the products.
- Maintain clear communication with Creative Fragrance Managers, Perfumers, and Sales about project and sample-request status.
- Work with Creative Fragrance Managers to ensure internal and customer samples meet specifications and are prepared in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and current manual and electronic laboratory records.
