About The Position
This course covers topics such as estimation using confidence intervals, hypothesis testing (including non-parametric methods), correlation, the simple linear regression model (with extensions to multiple regression), and chi-square tests on qualitative data. The emphasis is on understanding the appropriate application and potential misuse of various statistical methods. Hands-on experience with statistical software tools will be provided. The lab component is optional. The teaching mode will be delivered in person, but may change due to health measures or other reasons.
Requirements
- Master's degree (PhD preferred) in statistics or a related field with extensive statistical methods application
- Recent professional experience directly related to the use of statistical methods in business
- Teaching experience, preferably in the area of the course

- Teach Applications of Statistical Methods in Business (ADM2304 Section B)
- Provide hands-on experience with statistical software tools
- Emphasize understanding when and how to use (and not misuse) various statistical methods
