About The Position

The Applications Manager oversees user access administration across bank systems and applications. The role helps maintain the security, integrity, and compliance of the technology environment while ensuring employees receive timely access to the systems they need. The position administers user accounts, permissions, roles, and security groups; supports employee onboarding and offboarding; assists with audits and access-control improvements; and serves as an administrator for core banking and ancillary applications.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Three or more years of experience administering business or banking applications.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Community banking experience.
Knowledge of banking regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

Administer user accounts and permissions across banking and business applications.
Create, modify, and disable user access based on approved requests and established security procedures.
Assign system permissions according to job responsibilities and the principle of least privilege.
Troubleshoot and resolve application access issues.
Establish system access for new hires, update permissions for role changes, and promptly remove access when employees terminate.
Maintain documentation supporting onboarding and offboarding activities.
Conduct periodic user access reviews and support internal and external audits.
Assist with risk assessments and access-control improvements, and ensure segregation of duties is maintained.
Administer core banking and ancillary applications, including maintaining user roles, security groups, and permission structures.
Coordinate with software vendors on access-related issues.
Assist with system upgrades and implementations.
