Applications Engineering Manager

ASML•Austin, TX
•$172,125 - $252,450•Onsite

About The Position

This is a leadership role establishing ASML’s Applications Engineering capability for a strategic advanced-node customer in the United States. The manager will build and scale a high-performing Applications organization supporting a development line in Texas and a future high-volume manufacturing (HVM) site. The role leads the startup, ramp, and maturation of Applications Engineering support from early wafer introduction through pilot-line execution and ramp to volume, while shaping the local organization, strengthening customer partnerships, and ensuring operational readiness aligned with global standards. The Applications team supports node transfer and ramp execution across ASML scanner and metrology platforms. It works closely with install, equipment, and customer teams to own on-product performance and meet customer timelines while achieving yield and output performance equal to or better than the mother fab. The organization is expected to grow from an initial team of approximately 10 engineers to a multidisciplinary HVM support organization as the install base grows. The role owns customer outcomes, business operations, and people leadership for the local Applications organization. It reports to the Head of US CS Applications, participates in the Extended Staff of US Applications, and serves as a key interface between the local site, global stakeholders, and the customer. The role is based in Austin, Texas, and is expected to transition toward the future HVM manufacturing location as the customer footprint evolves. Travel of up to approximately 30% domestically and internationally is required.
