About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location. Duties include designing and re-engineering existing software in Oracle, SQL, and Unix, and developing a new framework for handling large files and data processing using Unix. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for design, development, testing, release of key components, and sprint planning for regulatory reporting forms. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing scalable and fault-tolerant Extract, Data Transformation, and Load (ETL) pipelines for processing terabytes of contract information, and developing feed processing tools to download data from third-party systems. The position requires active work on performance tuning techniques through understanding SQLs on data structures for both ETL and Reporting Components, and developing the integration between Documentum and code for managing forms. The role also entails managing the design and development of the RegInsight application, which uses Java, Abinitio ETL, and Micro Strategy for configuring and processing US regulatory forms. The Tech Lead Analyst will lead a team of twelve resources, review changes, analyze and estimate change requests, and prepare technical specifications. Performance tuning of graphs/scripts, sources, targets, and sessions is also a key responsibility, along with providing training and handholding to the technical team. Conducting walkthroughs of software design with architecture teams and business users, and designing and developing relational database models are also part of the role. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Technology Business Analyst, Technology Lead Analyst, Associate Architect-Technology or related position overseeing the full software development lifecycle.
  • 6 years of experience must include: Software Design & Re-engineering (Oracle, SQL, Unix, MicroStrategy, Tableau and Technical business analyst);
  • Implement scalable and fault tolerant data pipelines for contract information though Regulatory reportings, Computer Organization, and Embedded Systems;
  • Regulatory Reporting Systems Management (Insight, BASELIII, FFIEC,FRB,SEC Forms);
  • Lead and guide SCRUM team, conduct code reviews, provide technical training and prepare specifications;
  • Performance Optimization (SQL, Data Structures, Computer Programming, Optimization Techniques);
  • Technical Analysis & Communication (Analysis, Estimation, Walkthroughs, Project seminars).

Responsibilities

  • Design and re-engineer existing software in Oracle, SQL, and Unix.
  • Design and develop a new framework to handle large files and data processing using Unix.
  • Own and hold responsibility of the end-to-end design and development, testing, release of key components, and sprint planning for regulatory reporting forms.
  • Design and implement scalable and fault tolerant Extract, Data transformation, and Load Pipelines to store and process terabytes of contract information from upstream sources with high availability.
  • Design and develop feed processing tools to download the feed from third party system.
  • Actively work on performance tuning techniques through understanding SQLs on data structures to both ETL and Reporting Components.
  • Develop the integration between Documentum and code to check in and check out the FRY9C, FFIEC031, FRY12 and CCAR forms in the document.
  • Manage the design and development of the RegInsight application, which will be used to configure and process more than 30 US regulatory forms, including BASELIII, FFIEC101, and FFIEC102, using Java as a user interface, Abinitio ETL for data process, and Micro Strategy for reporting needs.
  • Lead a team of twelve (12) resources by reviewing the changes to ensure that deliverables are developed correctly.
  • Analyze, estimate, and prepare technical specifications for change requests.
  • Involved in Performance Tuning of graphs/scripts, Sources, Targets, and Sessions by identifying and rectifying performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide adequate training and handholding within the technical team to develop and enhance of the Regulatory reporting application as per federal form filing needs.
  • Conduct a walkthrough of software design with the architecture team and business users about the RegInsight reporting application which is needed to run the reports and form filings.
  • Design and develop relational data base models to store the transaction data and analyze the data size and memory storage required.
