About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. This role provides continuous support from a Development Operations lens for business applications including external client and internal client-based OTC Margin Calculations, MERIT, Netting Engine, and Quattro. The analyst ensures all mission critical applications are stable for internal and external Citi clients, monitors equipment functioning to ensure systems operate in conformance with specifications, and determines system performance standards. The position involves providing application or analytical support, communicating with team members to alleviate time-difference issues, and managing all development operations-related application-critical activities. This includes ensuring operational cloud servers, Enterprise Container Services (ECS), SSH key installations, and NAS drive maintenance, which requires submitting necessary change tickets on the ServiceNow system. The analyst will consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance. They will confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and obtain information on project limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces, as well as confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. The role supports Citi’s critical customer-facing Margin and Risk calculation applications - OTC-Margin, MERIT, Netting Engine, and Quattro. The analyst will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, and analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of new systems or modification of existing systems. They will store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements, and support disaster recovery testing activities, including implementing approved improvements or maintaining application components to ensure system continuity. The position involves executing software system testing or validation procedures and preparing associated documentation, as well as coordinating the installation of software systems. The analyst will maintain the source code repository in Bitbucket, setting up continuous integration and delivery of components, forecasting infrastructure needs including Cloud servers, Enterprise Container Services, NAS, and databases including Oracle and MongoDB, and S3 archival storage. They will modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces and improve performance. The role also involves obtaining and evaluating information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, or security needs to determine hardware configuration, preparing reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status, and coordinating with developers regarding task distribution and supporting the completion of assigned work. Additionally, the analyst will train users to use new or modified equipment. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation.
• Six (6) years of experience must include: Provisioning Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS) cloud for authentication and authorization, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) for network isolation and security, controlling network traffic and access to resources through security groups, distributing traffic to pods and nodes through load balancers, setting up storage options including Amazon Elastic Block Storage (EBS), Elastic File System (EFS), and File System Expanded, and integrating AWS services for monitoring and logging.
• Maintaining Enterprise Container Services (ECS) infrastructure using Red Hat Linux Openshift platform, including namespace creation, routes, services, deployment configuration, map configuration, and monitoring infra-utilization, pods liveliness, and readiness logs.
• Setting up new cloud Virtual Machines on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows Servers operating systems to integrate software package installation, Secure Shell protocol (SSH) key pair set up, pub key installation, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificates maintenance, secrets maintenance set up, vault maintenance, and creation and maintenance of load balancers through vendor software products.
• Using Oracle, Mongo Atlas, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL to setup database as a service, conducting self-service provisioning of databases, automatic patching, and turbomode for upgrading software packages.
• Creating and maintaining automated Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines using Atlassian Bitbucket, Microsoft Github, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Jetbrains Teamcity, Tekton, SONAR CUBE, Jfrog Synopsis Black duck, Check Marx, Snyk, IBM urban code deploy, and Harness.
• Forecasting, monitoring, and maintaining inventory of software packages of End Of Life (EOL) and End Of Vendor Support (EOVS), upgrading them, or proposing recommended alternative software packages.
