About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, TX location. Duties: Partner with various teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Install, maintain, or use software testing programs. Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Update automated test scripts to ensure accuracy. Visit beta testing sites to evaluate software performance. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments. Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks. Design or develop automated testing tools. Coordinate user or third-party testing. Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Investigate customer problems referred by technical support. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking. Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary. Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality. Collaborate with field staff or customers to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation developing and managing applications.
  • Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing and developing ASP.NET/.NET Core web-based applications and REST services for client-server environments which involve business process workflow and analytical data; Performing UI development, including using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery to improve functionality of web-based applications; Developing high-performance multi-threaded applications using C# and VB.NET; Developing and maintaining ETL pipelines using PowerShell and Python to automate data extraction, transform and loading across multiple varying systems; Performing MS SQL and Oracle database design, performance tuning and application integration; Designing, implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins and Artifactory to automate build, test and deployment processes; and Maintaining source code repositories using Git tools ensuring version control best practices across development teams.
  • In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience.
  • Employer will accept pre- or post-Master’s degree experience.
