About The Position
This role is for an Application Support Engineer who will be a member of the Reconciliation squad, supporting an internal account reconciliation application. The primary focus will be on maintaining the application's uptime, performance, stability, and scalability. The engineer will attend all agile Reconciliation ceremonies and is responsible for specific daily and monthly reconciliation tasks, including weekly maintenance, month-end processes, and escheatment.
Requirements
- Prior software application support background.
- Experience in software/systems application support.
- Prior knowledge of accounting, accounts payable, and reconciliation.
Nice To Haves
- Prior agile experience.
- Knowledge of Service Now.
- Six Sigma knowledge or certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain application uptime, performance, stability, and scalability.
- Attend all agile Reconciliation ceremonies.
- Review, update, and create reconciliation documentation.
- Develop robust and extensible solutions for new LOB initiatives.
- Build tools and processes to support analytics and monitoring.
- Continually improve and fine-tune alerting and monitoring systems.
- Understand and be responsible for specific daily and monthly reconciliation tasks (e.g., weekly maintenance, month end, escheatment).
