About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution. This role focuses on building, modernizing, and supporting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the Microsoft .NET stack, modern UI frameworks like Angular or React, Python, and SQL to develop high-performing solutions. This position requires a strong problem-solver with excellent debugging skills and the ability to contribute to sound design and architecture.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with hands-on delivery in enterprise environments
• Strong experience in legacy ASP.NET and modern .NET Core / latest .NET
• Strong front-end experience with Angular and/or React
• Proficiency in Python for backend or automation use cases
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries (joins, window functions, aggregations) and a query optimization mindset
• Experience working with stored procedures and transactional systems
• Experience supporting batch job processing/schedulers and production support patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and deployment automation with Ansible
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and RCA skills
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Nice To Haves

• Experience with performance tuning for backend services and databases
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging and production readiness practices
• Experience with microservices, containers, or cloud native patterns
• Exposure to job schedulers (e.g., Autosys/Airflow) and large-scale batch environments

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using ASP.NET / MVC / Web API / .NET Core / latest .NET
• Build modern web UI components using Angular and/or React, with strong TypeScript and responsive UI practices
• Develop and maintain Python utilities/services for automation, integrations, scripting, and API components
• Write and optimize SQL, including complex queries, joins, and performance tuning
• Analyze query performance and resolve data-related production issues
• Understand and support batch jobs, scheduled jobs, and job dependencies for operational workflows
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins and automation tooling such as Ansible
• Perform strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across UI, backend, batch, and database layers
• Contribute to solution design and architecture, producing maintainable, scalable, and supportable design approaches
• Collaborate effectively within an Agile team, participating in code reviews and technical discussions
