About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on Front Office applications within Global Markets, requiring expertise in Python, REST, and ReactJS. The developer will contribute to risk and pricing applications, perform quantitative research, and handle data analysis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, with Python experience required
• 7+ years of experience as a senior developer on front office applications in banking services
• 7+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher and developer, with the ability to handle domain-specific data analysis
• 7+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS or full-stack development
• Experience with Object Databases and Relational Databases

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Fixed Income products
• 5+ years of experience in risk and pricing application development
• Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets
• Subject matter expertise on proprietary trading platforms

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Senior Developer on front office applications in banking services
• Perform quantitative research and domain-specific data analysis
• Contribute to risk and pricing application development
• Develop full-stack solutions using Python, REST, and ReactJS
• Work with both Object and Relational databases
