About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Microservices Developer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution. This role involves architecting, designing, and developing microservices for an Enterprise Content Management system. The ideal candidate will build solutions using the SpringBoot framework, MongoDB, Kafka, and s3 storage technologies within an Agile development environment.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in data structures and software design
- Strong background in Springboot
- Thorough understanding of MongoDB architecture and data models
- Experience with database security and the use of JWT tokens
- Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle using technologies like BitBucket, Junit and CheckMarx
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with large data volumes and high transactions
- Experience working in a Linux/UNIX environment
- Experience in developing scripts to automate frequent tasks
- Knowledge of best patterns and practices for designing document schemas
- Experience with Java MongoDB drivers
- Development experience with cloud technologies
- Knowledge of s3 storage technologies with Hitachi or Amazon
Nice To Haves
- Experience with OpenShift Platform
- Knowledge of Content Management system architecture
- Familiarity with AWS Container Services Architecture
- Experience with S3 storage solutions
- Knowledge of Kafka
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Architect and design SpringBoot microservices and schedulers that interact with a MongoDB database and Kafka event services
- Develop solutions using SpringBoot framework, MongoDB, Kafka, and s3 storage technologies
- Follow Agile development methodology for the full software development lifecycle
- Utilize tools for code versioning, scanning, and deployments such as BitBucket, Junit, and CheckMarx
