Application Programmer
About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month potential contract-to-hire opportunity. The role involves exploring existing and emerging technologies to drive financial center modernization efforts. The developer will be part of a small, technically strong team supporting an industry-leading teller transformation effort through projects, troubleshooting, and developing proof of concepts. The developer will apply industry-accepted coding practices to improve application code quality and will be responsible for analyzing and designing solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required
- UI: HTML/JavaScript/CSS, JQuery, Angular X, Handlebars, Node/NPM
- Services: Java, Spring Boot Microservices, Spring Security and Authentication, Hibernate/JPA
- Testing: Junit, Mockito, Jasmine
- Platform tools: SVN, BitBucket, Jira, Container Jenkins, Git, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, Apache Tomcat, Autosys
- Persistence: Oracle, Caching
- Experience working in agile teams (Agile Scrum & Scaled Agile)
- Experience with packaging and deploying services via WAR files, integration with downstream systems via RESTful and SOAP interfaces
- Experience working with large code bases and collaborating with other team members
- Experience troubleshooting system-wide issues and using Eclipse & VS Code IDEs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests
- OpenShift Container knowledge is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of containerization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Work with scrum teams and stakeholders to oversee code releases
- Apply industry-accepted coding practices for improving the code quality of applications
- Analyze and design solutions
- Enable financial center associates to service clients using both desktop and iPads
- Document and communicate findings and options to all levels of the organization
