About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to design and implement quality-check procedures for applications. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing application features, designing test parameters, creating and executing automated test cases, and ensuring that developed applications meet high quality standards and expectations. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer
Languages: Java (Spring Boot), Python (for utilities), SQL
Database: Oracle, MongoDb
Experience with REST/GraphQL testing, pagination, retries, and backoff
Experience with Contract testing with Pact and OpenAPI/Swagger validation
Experience with CDC/event validation (Kafka, Schema Registry), and DLQ handling

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python
Working knowledge with SQL Server or MySQL database
Experience in the financial industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a similar field
