BAS - Controls Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our impressive Controls Company in Memphis, TN. This role involves creating, drafting, designing, and managing BAS systems and architecture. You will develop Sequences of Operations (SOO) for each project and deliver them to System Specialists or Controls Technicians. A fundamental understanding of programming or basic troubleshooting of existing programs is required. You will also visit customer sites for job walks, lead the development of detailed automation data and designs, and prepare them for submittals. The role requires ensuring controls designs are delivered on time and efficiently, providing light programming experience, and supporting programmers, Controls Techs, and Salespeople.
Requirements
- Prior experience as Applications Engineer or similar position
- Fundamental understanding of programming or basic troubleshooting of existing programs
- Light programming experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AutoCAD or MS Visio
Responsibilities
- Create, draft, design, and manage BAS systems and architecture using AutoCAD or MS Visio
- Develop Sequence of Operations for each project
