This role involves utilizing an engineering background to provide pre-sales and/or post-sales technical customer support, including implementation, training, and maintenance support for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and semiconductor intellectual property (IP). The position requires working with EDA tools, collaborating with technical experts, and supporting the sales team in a dynamic, innovative environment focused on silicon design and design automation. Responsibilities include providing front-line design services, technical sales, and customer support to advanced Cadence customers, and working with Cadence account teams to create innovative solutions for challenging technical problems. The role also involves building training materials and rapid adoption kits, presenting customer case studies internally and externally, and providing sales with return on investment data. Some telecommuting is permitted, and availability to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States is required.
