About The Position

Our centralized team supports the entire Department by developing and maintaining a range of systems, including internal and public-facing solutions. We handle licensing and case management systems, centralized eCommerce and document management platforms, and a content management system for the Department’s website. The incumbent will: Create, maintain, and improve software and relational data. Test software using systematic methods. Manage software documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders to solve information management problems. Develop reports and database queries. Support software development operations.

Requirements

Software Development: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for designing, developing, and testing software in a given environment.
Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities or manage a situation by drawing on one’s knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.
Web Technology: Knowledge of the principles and methods of web technologies, tools, and delivery systems, including web security, privacy policy practices, and user interface issues.
Application Developer 1: Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in: Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving, Computers and Electronics, Continual Learning.
Application Developer 2: Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in: Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving, Computer Languages.
Application Developer 3: Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in: Adaptability, Computer Languages, Customer/Quality Focus.
