This limited tenure position, approximately one year, is for an Application Analyst supporting the Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST). The role involves consultation, process improvement, and digital transformation, focusing on OAST software applications. Responsibilities include evaluating business processes, recommending and developing innovative solutions, and improving processes using digital standards and technology. The analyst will support software programs across multiple business functions, understand the business environment and IT's impact, and provide analysis for installed systems and implementation projects. Key tasks include optimizing applications and end-to-end processes for efficiency and user experience, maintaining knowledge of existing systems and core domain operations, and potentially obtaining vendor application certification. The role also involves understanding strategic product direction, configuring, designing, developing, or modifying applications, validating data integrity and solution alignment with stakeholder needs, and providing software quality assurance and regulatory compliance support. The analyst will resolve customer problems, respond to improvement requests, and contribute to content for FAQs, job aids, and training materials. They will research requests, elicit requirements from customers, and act as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas. Support for data governance, reference data management, and data standards is also expected. The position requires active participation in business meetings, the ability to translate technology insights to non-technical stakeholders, building customer rapport, managing small- to mid-sized projects, and contributing to testing activities. On-call support may be required.
