This position is seeking an appearance attorney to cover a wide range of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction related appearances mainly in the 5 boroughs. The firm is looking for bright, enthusiastic individuals, who will bring a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow alongside the firm. Willing to train the right individual.

Requirements

Admission to the New York State Bar
Eligibility for or willingness to waive into the corresponding federal district courts.
Strong courtroom presence with excellent public speaking and advocacy skills.
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve legal issues efficiently.
Confident, professional demeanor with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Admission in New Jersey or Pennsylvania is a plus.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in a variety of default service court proceedings, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction-related matters across all five boroughs.
Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries promptly.
Manage a high volume of legal matters, including settlement negotiations and litigated cases, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of each assignment.
