About The Position

This role is especially ideal for college students or as a second job. All positions start at $22.51 per hour, with potential for higher starting pay if you have a current SFO AOA/SIDA badge. We offer medical/dental benefits after a 90-day probation period and paid time off (PTO/Sick) accrual. Shifts available include both day and swing shifts, with the possibility of working more than one shift.

Requirements

Government sponsored photo ID a minimum.
Must prioritize safety to the top of your workplace practices.
Must be able to obtain a United Airlines Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) badge.
Must pass a ten-year background check and pass a computer-based training program to obtain an airport security ID badge (AOA/SIDA).
Must be able to lift, stand, bend, twist, push and pull objects frequently.
Must be a team player, reliable, conscientious and detail oriented.
Must be able to work in a range of environmental conditions, including rain, cold, strong sunlight and decreased visibility.
Must be on time, every time, every workday.

Nice To Haves

No previous experience necessary, we train you.
No driver’s license required but recommended.

Responsibilities

Applying dry polish to the exterior of the aircraft to prevent corrosion.
Polishing and buffing the aircraft to leave a clean and finished shine.
Using lift equipment to reach higher sections (areas) of the aircraft’s fuselage and tail.
