About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a part-time Apparel Processor in Strongsville, Ohio, at an hourly rate of $13.40. The role supports store operations by processing donated apparel and domestics for soft-line departments. The processor sorts donations, checks their condition, and hangs and tags items that meet quality standards. The position also involves maintaining customer service standards and keeping the processing area clean and ready for the next shift. Responsibilities

Stay knowledgeable about brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
Sort apparel into salable and salvage categories.
Check items for tears, stains, wetness, odors, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons; only flaw-free items meet quality standards.
Hang and tag quality donations promptly according to agency standards while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
Keep the processing area neat and clean and ensure the station is ready for the next shift.
Embody DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
Follow agency safety policies and guidelines and actively work with supervisors and team members to address identified safety concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Greet and thank customers and donors in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
