About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. Associates perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized point-of-sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and provide a pleasant, productive shopping experience.
• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise with care and provide customers with information, assistance, and direction.
• Demonstrate products to customers and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Replenish and restock merchandise according to merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Identify and evaluate customers' needs, recommend products, and promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
