About The Position

Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an APP to work in their ICU. This is a teaching hospital with an average daily census of 7 patients across 10 beds. The APP will function as a "responding clinician" and will not be performing procedures. Responsibilities include rounding with the Attending in the morning, completing tasks, and rounding again in the afternoon. The position requires 2 years of critical care experience and specific certifications. The role is better suited for local candidates who can commute via train, subway, or car, as travel is not provided. Overtime is paid at the same rate as regular hours, and holiday pay is 1.4x. Orientation is non-billable for the first 8 hours.

Requirements

  • Board Certifications Req’d in Acute Care with the ICU experience
  • MA State License
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • DEA required
  • 2 years of experience in critical care
  • Must be a PA (NPs are not considered due to licensing timeframes)
  • Must apply before client can initiate appointment
