About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Benign Hematology Program at the state-of-the-art FirstHealth Cancer Center in Pinehurst, NC. This role is part of a growing hematology team within a nationally recognized health system. The APP will practice within a multidisciplinary cancer program, collaborating closely with a supervising hematologist to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, order diagnostic testing, and facilitate referrals. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or hospital call responsibilities, focusing on an outpatient, patient-centered model of care.

Requirements

PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
At least 2 years of Advanced Practice experience.
Clean background.
NC license.
NC DEA.
AHA BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

Experience preferably in pulmonology, oncology, or thoracic surgery.

Responsibilities
