About The Position

The Apheresis Scheduler recruits and schedules donors by telephone in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner. The position is on-site in Easley and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a rotating Saturday or Sunday shift every other week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role verifies donor eligibility in DoVac and Vista before scheduling, books appointments in donor scheduling software, and monitors schedules to ensure fixed-site centers have enough donors to meet daily collection goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Aptitude for continued skill development.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and schedule donors by telephone in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Verify that apheresis and non-automated donor eligibility is acceptable in DoVac and Vista before scheduling donors.
• Schedule donor appointments using donor scheduling software.
• Monitor appointment schedules throughout the day to ensure adequate donor numbers at fixed-site centers to meet daily collection goals.
• Maintain good public relations with donors, patrons, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
