About The Position

The Production Planning Scheduler recruits and schedules donors by telephone in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner. This on-site position is in Easley. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a rotating Saturday or Sunday shift every other week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Aptitude for continued skill development.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and schedule donors by telephone in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Check apheresis and non-automated donor eligibility in DoVac and Vista before scheduling donors.
• Schedule donor appointments in donor scheduling software.
• Monitor appointment schedules throughout the day to ensure enough donors are scheduled at all fixed-site centers to meet daily collection goals.
• Maintain good public relations with donors, patrons, and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
