About The Position

The Apartment Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, preserves order, and enforces site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. The role may also involve providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. Training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for security officers or guards.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for extended periods; may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines or uneven terrain.
May need to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is considered a good fit.
