About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol support Security Officer for an assigned apartment complex site in San Francisco, California. The position provides consistent anchor shifts, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and weekly schedule. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the option to build up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $24.50 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM. The officer provides customer service and performs site-specific security procedures, unarmed patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and reporting.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor authorization as directed, and remain aware of people entering and leaving the property.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
