Apartment Maintenance Technician - Paid Training Provided!
About The Position
Tribute Companies is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a stabilized, garden-style apartment community with 294 units in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The role supports the company’s goal of providing exceptional service and maintaining communities residents are proud to call home. Paid in-person maintenance onboarding training is provided. The technician performs daily and preventative maintenance, responds to repair needs, maintains apartments and common areas, and completes apartment turns for incoming residents. The position requires general maintenance experience and basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The schedule is Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday, with participation in an on-call duty rotation.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Own and know how to use basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and climb ladders.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

- HVAC/EPA Certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general property upkeep.
- Diagnose and efficiently address maintenance requests.
- Keep apartments and common areas in excellent condition.
- Complete apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to help keep the property safe, attractive, and functioning well.
- Participate in the on-call duty rotation.
