About The Position

At WPM your job as a Service Technician is to respond to maintenance repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and prepare units for move-in for new residents. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure the property is well-maintained and residents are satisfied.

Requirements

• Demonstrated plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills required
• Must be available on-call for emergencies on evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle and travel required
• Able to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures and equipment
• Required to work on ladders, lift to a height up to 85’
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in site maintenance required

Responsibilities

• HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
• Hanging, prepping, and sanding drywall
• Electrical repairs
• Upkeep and repair of appliances
• Plumbing work
• Painting common areas and apartments
• Maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety on the property’s grounds
• Assisting with snow removal
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage for emergencies
