About The Position

The Apartment Service Technician responds to maintenance repair requests, performs preventative maintenance, and prepares units for move-in for new residents. The role includes maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, drywall, electrical systems, appliances, plumbing, and painted areas, as well as keeping property grounds clean, orderly, and safe. The technician also assists with snow removal and participates in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Demonstrated plumbing, electrical, or carpentry skills.
• Availability for on-call emergency coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license, a vehicle, and ability to travel.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor electrical problems within various types of fixtures and equipment.
• Ability to work on ladders and lift to a height of up to 85 feet.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of site maintenance experience.
