About The Position

Apartment HVAC Technician role supporting a small group of nearby properties in Omaha, Nebraska, with predictable daily routes and consistent HVAC work. This is a full-time, year-round, on-site day-shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with shared on-call responsibilities for emergencies. The position pays $28 to $35 per hour, plus potential quarterly and on-call bonuses. A physical demonstration of the ability to complete job duties is required during the interview process. Pre-employment screening includes a criminal background check and drug screening.

Requirements

HVAC repair and troubleshooting skills.
EPA and HVAC certification.
Basic electrical skills.
Basic plumbing skills.
Ability to assist with general maintenance when needed.
Ability to complete the job duties, demonstrated through a physical demonstration during the interview process.
Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Repair, replace, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
Paint and stain interior and exterior applications.
Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
Perform exterior structural maintenance as needed.
Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
Perform snow removal when applicable.
Assist with general maintenance when needed.
