About The Position

C2 Education is hiring a part-time AP STEM Tutor to provide high-quality instruction following C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The tutor fosters a positive learning environment and supports students' academic growth and development. The position requires in-person tutoring at the Yorba Linda C2 location. Sessions take place after school hours, typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties relevant to the position and student needs as assigned.
• Provide tutoring in person.
