AP STEM & AP Humanities Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time tutor to provide high-quality instruction to students using C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role supports students’ academic growth and development by fostering a positive learning environment. The tutor must be able to teach in person and work with students in relevant subject areas. Sessions are held after school and are typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. The position is located at the Diamond Bar C2 center in Diamond Bar, California. The hourly pay range is $24.00 to $30.00.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
- Ability to tutor in person.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Follow C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and student needs as assigned.
