The AP/AR Analyst will support our manufacturing operations by managing key accounting processes, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights that help guide business decisions. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance while playing a critical role in maintaining accurate financial information and supporting the financial health of the business. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger support, and account reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to balance detailed transactional work with higher-level financial analysis.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant leadership to provide financial analysis and operational insights that support business decisions.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including billing, invoice processing, payments, credits, adjustments, ACH transactions, and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance, inventory activity, purchase price variances, and cost-related trends.
  • Monitor customer aging, collections activity, vendor accounts, and payment trends to improve cash flow and working capital performance.
  • Investigate financial discrepancies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve accuracy.
  • Maintain vendor, customer, and financial master data within the ERP system.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and improve reporting capabilities.
  • Support internal and external audits and provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed.
