About The Position

Love Justice International (LJI) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to combating human trafficking by disrupting it in transit. They focus on intercepting potential victims at transportation hubs where traffickers and victims are most visible. LJI utilizes structured core processes to ensure operational excellence and accountability across its global programs, covering areas like financial management, HR, data collection, and victim care. The Installation Team is responsible for integrating these processes within partner offices through training, support, and coaching, ensuring high standards of compliance and effectiveness. The Anti-Trafficking Field Officer role involves installing and monitoring these core processes, with responsibilities depending on the officer's professional expertise (e.g., business, finance, legal, data analysis, security, HR). As LJI expands into French-speaking countries, this role will be crucial for installing processes and training partner staff in French. The position is based in Ballito, South Africa, with travel to programs in Africa and Asia.

Requirements

• Mature Christian faith and agreement with LJI's Global Value to “Abide in Christ”.
• Knowledge, understanding, and agreement with how the Christian Gospel ministers to “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40) and guides the mission.
• Agreement with LJI's Core Value “Be the Kingdom" in mission execution and personal conduct.
• Acknowledgment of LJI's Statement of Faith.
• Passion for justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the position.
• 3+ years of significant experience in a relevant field (business, finance, accounting, legal, data analysis, security, human resources, and human assessments).
• Advanced proficiency in French (spoken, read, and written) is essential for delivering training, facilitating meetings, and producing professional written materials.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in cross-cultural contexts and sensitivity to different cultures.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn to use AI tools to improve work and owned processes.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree or higher preferred.
• An experienced trainer is highly preferred.
• Experience working cross-culturally preferred.
• Existing experience with AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with LJI core process Leads and LJI Regional Stewards to install necessary core processes, which may involve video calls, emails, and occasional in-person trainings.
• Assist the core process Lead in closely tracking compliance with assigned core processes after installation.
• Provide follow-up training stemming from compliance monitoring and take initiative to ensure national partners understand requirements.
• Assist in new anti-trafficking pilot project ideas, considering the Field Officer's passions, skills, and expertise.
• Potentially develop expertise in core processes and take on more responsibility, such as becoming an Implementation Manager or core process Lead.
